After returning home from Kosovo, Adam attended Officer Candidate School.  Upon receiving his commission to become an officer in the military, his wife pinned his new rank on his uniform in a ceremony held in the Governor's office at the Minnesota State Capitol. (Summer 2006)

Adam went on to earn his MBA from the Carlson School of Management with an emphasis in finance, driven by his interest in economics. Here he is surrounded by those closest to him. Not pictured are Adam's sister and brother-in-law, who are taking the photo. (Spring 2008)
